Developing Sustainable Transportation System as A Veritable Tool for Reducing Green Gas Emission and Promoting Renewable Energy Sources

Abstract

Promotion of renewable energy has become a global call to nations that are forward thinking and whose government, management and society wants to leave an indelible footprints for the generations yet unborn. It was on the note that the study examined the developing sustainable transportation system as a veritable tool for reducing green gas emission and promoting renewable energy sources with focus on the United States based on the degree of development in that nation. Several components were looked at in this conceptual paper for the purpose of adequately capturing the significance of developing a sustainable transportation system for the benefits of all. The standpoint of this paper is that the united State can significantly contribute towards sustainable development and one of the ways for attaining this desired height is the incorporation of using electric vehicles, promotion of car sharing and implementing the usage as bicycle will go to a very significant extent in reducing green gas emission and promoting renewable energy sources.
